THE NEED

Throughout the Valley, our youth are encountering problems on a scale even their parents never dreamed of.

Skyrocketing levels of drug and alcohol use and addiction, a tragic and heartbreaking side effect of the area ’s increasing association with methamphetamine and drug trafficking.

An alarming increase in gangs and gang-related crime, ranging from graffiti and vandalism to car theft, assault, and even murder.

Health problems like childhood obesity and diabetes, which threaten to derail the healthy development of our children and cut their lives dangerously short.

Low self-esteem. Anxiety. Depression. Helplessness. Hopelessness.

They said it could never happen here in our Valley. But it is happening. And something must be done.
